Managing money and structuring it are different jobs.
Almost everyone is taught the first. Very few are taught the second. I write about the decisions that sit underneath the return rate, and why conventional financial advice leaves them out.
Nineteen pages, nine charts, eight worksheets. Sent immediately. Educational and general in nature. Not financial, investment, tax or legal advice.

The Capital Map
Nineteen pages, written in plain English. Seven money decisions, nine charts, and a worksheet after every section, so you finish with your own numbers written down rather than someone else's example.

I work on the allocation side: equity research and trading at Morgan Stanley first, then Nasdaq, then chief investment officer and partner at a DFSA-regulated asset manager in the DIFC. Now investment banking advisory out of Dubai and deploying capital out of Miami.
The people I deal with are not better investors than everyone else. Some are worse. What they have is six or seven decisions made on purpose, in areas where most people have made none. What the borrowing is secured against. When the taxable event happens. What legally holds the asset, and which jurisdiction each of those answers sits in.
